Ron has also been in non-profit management for over 15 years. As the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization Soulciety, Ron has developed non-profit skills including organizational, program, and fund development.

He has coordinated overseas volunteer trips to the Philippines and has been responsible for donating hundreds of computers to schools throughout the Philippines. In 2019, Soulciety received the

"Non-Profit of the Year Award" from California State Senator Bob Wieckowski.

Recently, Ron has come to a crossroad where his non-profit work has merged with his balisong practice, and out of this came the birth of

Kultura Ng Balisong.
